We are thoughtful and considerate vaccinated couple. We have raised and cared for dogs, cats, chickens, horses and other family pets. We enjoy taking dogs for long walks.
We also have 2 cats in our home. We realize they need daily litter box cleaning, pampering and attention.
Your pets and home will be will treated with respect. Available for longer housesits over the winter months October through to May. We have a 4 wheel drive to access remote locations.

Doug & Debb were amazing pet sitters & house sitters for us! They went above & beyond with many extra tasks like maintaining multiple hot tubs, cleaning & taking care of our doggy & kitty! They were excellent communicators often sending updates on the pets and on how everything was going. They even did a few extra tasks on the property which was above & beyond our expectations! Doug and Debb arrived the night before our early morning departure. We enjoyed dinner together getting to know them and were regaled by wonderful stories of their lives. I was happy that they felt comfortable to stay the night so we could leave to the airport by 5:30 am. Both Doug and Debb were immediately at ease with our rambunctious pup, Ruby, and our snuggly feline, Magog. I received fun daily updates and pictures of happy pets :) on . When we arrived home from our trip, it was such a treat to walk in to a lovely clean and tidy home and happy calm pets! All the linens and towels were washed, the bed was beautifully made and the kitchen was spotless. I have many plants and gardens to keep watered, especially during this hot summer. All my flower gardens, baskets and vegetable garden were well maintained and that's a daily chore! I highly recommend Doug and Debb to house, garden and pet sit. Wow! We might have set the bar too high with Doug and Debb being our first house-sitters! Not only are they kind, caring, and absolute pet lovers, but they went above and beyond to make us feel at ease about leaving our two large dogs for the first time. Our fur babies were well taken care of, our house was left spotless, and Debb sent updates and pictures every day. Thank you!!
Doug and Deb were wonderful. We could quickly tell that they were a good fit for us and our dogs. We were able to leave on vacation without any fear or concerns. I believe that we will continue to remain friends and hopefully they will be back through Colorado next year.
We’ve been using house/pet sitters for 20 years and Deb and Doug rank at the top for folks we want staying in our home. They were here for a 3 month sit. Their first day was spent here with us and it was clear that they would care for our home and pets with the utmost respect and sense of responsibility. It was quite surprising that our dog didn’t even bark at them when they first entered our front door. Just indicative of the calm and warm nature of these lovely people. It was wonderful that they kept in touch, perfectly tended the house and yard, and we DID NOT WORRY. Best— our dog was extremely happy with them. We’ve already invited them for another sit. Anyone lucky enough to book their time will be happy with their choice.
We loved having Doug and Debb here watching our home and dogs. They took the dogs with them when they left the house and got them out on hikes. The dogs seemed to really bond with them (and I don’t think they missed us much!). When Doug and Debb left, the dogs sat by the back door waiting for them to return. Great people and we would love to have them back again.
Doug and Deb were delightful from the first meeting! They are not only responsible, caring house and pet sitters but a joy to be around. They gave excellent care and maybe a little spoiling to all the animals. Our dog Riley was disappointed when it was us at the door returning home as he instantly loved Doug and Deb and their longer than normal walks! Their communication skills were excellent and we had no trouble reaching them whenever we needed to update info. You would be lucky to get them to sit for you because everyone that uses them wants them back!! Add our name to that list!
