We are a responsible, handy, non-smoking, outdoorsy couple with adult children (whom we sometimes travel with). We own our own organic farm and B&B in the United States, and house-sit as a way of traveling more economocially, and more "slowly." We love having the opportunity to "live like locals", getting to know an area by living there temporarily.
We are quite capable of caring for and maintaining your home, property, pets, and/or livestock while you're away. We are avid organic gardeners (herbs, flowers, vegetables, orchards), and experienced with livestock/farm animals, and with horses and mules (we've owned, and professionally trained equines for years). We also have dogs and cats, and have had other assorted small pets over the years.
In 2017 we'll be looking for a variety of short-term housesitting positions in September and October throughout Europe. Please contact us if you have a housesitting job you'd like us to consider.
