Fit and healthy, mid fifties female recently taken retirement from minor injuries nursing, but not ready for slippers just yet. Still looking for small scale adventure, and hopefully immersion in alternative lifestyles. In the past few years I have been on woof and workaway experiences which fit in nicely with my main hobby of gardening. Very happy getting dirty outdoors or equally cleaning up indoors. This year so far I have helped a colleague at lambing time in Shropshire, and have helped with changeovers at tourist appartments in the Pyrenees. I am looking for a longer stay, where hopefully I can pick up more of the local language. I am used to a quiet life and happy with my own company -which was tested by a seven week trip in a camper around Scotland in spring. Boringly reliable, and aware of my limitations; I am an independent worker but happy to take instruction- after all no one does things quite as well as yourself! In my career numerous CRB check have not uncovered anything sinister. I have basic DIY skills and am very proud of raised beds that I made out of decking. Unfortunately with the weather crops were not quite as bumper as hoped. I lived my early years on a farm, and my children growing up have had a rabbit, guinea pig, goldfish, cat and dog at various stages of their lives, so not an animal expert but can read directions.
