I would like to introduce myself, Lynne and my brother Ross. Police Check available. We are both non-smokers, active and lead a healthy lifestyle - made the decision to travel perpetually for the foreseeable future -We thoroughly enjoy traveling, meeting new people and have a wide range of interests. We both have a wealth of house sitting experiences and are looking for further opportunities. We can either sit alone or as two. Because we are both retired/semi retired we can afford the luxury of taking off overseas when we want, so please, we would consider going anywhere in the World !! We have a great sense of adventure and are keen to embrace new cultures and communities. - LYNNE : Started traveling when I was young and been all over the world more than once. Lived overseas firstly as a Diplomats daughter in Asia. I was trained as a Chef but have had many jobs including a TESOL teaching overseas, Chauffeur, Personal Assistant to a Merchant Banker, Nanny, Mother, Child Care Worker, Volunteering for AIDS Queensland. I can speak very basic Spanish, Bahasa Indonesian and Italian and understand a little French but would dearly love to perfect all . In my spare time I enjoy water aerobics, swimming, teaching cooking and entertaining my family. I know I am exceptionally clean and tidy and take great pride in a well run home. I have my own home on the Gold Coast, have had working properties in the country with many animals in the past with numerous pets. ROSS: Educated in the Arts in Sydney Australia and Malaysia. Worked in Advertising as a Graphic Designer/Art Director with top agencies in Sydney and Melbourne. I have had many years experience in Customer and Guest Services, Aged Care, Cert. 3 Nursing Assistant, Fashion Retail, managed a Ski Resort Lodge in Victoria AU, worked as a room service attendant, kitchen hand and waiter. I have a working background in Landscape Gardening/Maintenance/Design. I Teach Art generally in all subjects and in my own time paint, sculpt, read and exercise by walking and doing water aerobics . I am good with all animals and have cared for and loved my own cats and dogs. I have travelled extensively and have lived overseas. We see great benefit in the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the local community and feel that house sitting enables us to do this to a much greater extent than passing through as a traveller. - While house sitting for you our focus will be on caring for your home and pets (if needed) while integrating with the local community. We enjoy learning new languages, joining in with local customs and developing friendships that we may otherwise have missed out on. We have found that house sitting often involves caring for a few furry room mates and as we are both from pet loving households we enjoy the familiarity it brings. - We would also like if possible to negotiate using a car if possible, as we have both driven extensively overseas. Our previous house sitting assignments have given us a wealth of experience with which to confidently and responsibly care for your home, garden and pets. We believe that we can bring any home owner piece of mind, when leaving your property in our care you can be sure that we will maintain it to an exceptional standard and take great care of your possessions. We will be able to keep open communications so that you will feel at ease. Rest assured your privacy will stay private. Ross and I were raised in a very strict home where our Father was Chief Inspector with the Australian Federal Police and a Foreign Affairs Diplomat attached to the Australian High Commission, Malaysia. Between us we have a variety of practical skills and are keen to try our hand at most things. We are honest, ultra reliable and would always go out of our way to work hard and do the right thing by a home owner. We would treat you and your house with total respect - Clean, neat, detail oriented - all will be in order as you left it, or better, when you return.
