I'd love to look after your kitties while you're away!
I know how difficult it can be to leave your cats when you go on holiday or go away on business, but I've shared my life and home with cats for over 40 years and understand how to care for your feline companions. My last cat came with me when I moved back to the UK from Canada about two years ago when she was 20 but unfortunately I lost her a few months after that. I've had other older and special needs cats in the past and have experience with giving medication. I'm a calm reliable person and believe you can entrust your home and animals to me with peace of mind.
I lived most of my adult life in Canada and am now I'm back home in London where I grew up. I'm enjoying the freedom I have to travel, and house/cat sitting gives me the opportunity to experience such interesting places and environments while also letting me indulge my love of cats through looking after other people's.
I've now completed several cat/house sitting assignments which I've very much enjoyed and, having also had sitters for my own cats, I have a good feel for what's required. I spend a lot of time with the cats I look after and find that they usually take to me fairly quickly. I'm happy to stay in touch with you and send photos via , or text messages.
Having been a homeowner myself, I understand it's important to have someone trustworthy staying in your home to keep it clean and tidy.
I'm a retiree with a young outlook on life. I live a healthy active lifestyle, enjoy walking, and don't smoke or drink.
As I live in London now I no longer feel the need to own a car, although I've driven most of my life. I find I can get to most places and get around once I get there by public transport, but of course some towns are too remote or not well served.
