We are a very trustworthy and accommodating French couple looking for long-term home sitting opportunities because living in different countries is what we like. Whatever the country we're in, we're always very excited to learn about its people, sports, arts and politics.
We have traveled around the world, working and living in countries such as Vanuatu, Algeria, Cape Verde, and New Caledonia. We have exchanged our house in France several times for ones in Australia for periods up to 8 months.
We are now looking for any long-term opportunity in any region of Australia for a period of a several months to longer than a year.
My husband Jean-Pierre had a career as an industrial engineer and after retiring loved being a mathematics teacher. He still enjoys practicing mathematics for fun and reading scientific books. He is happy staying home and keeping in touch with world news on his PC but also enjoys a good game of bridge with friends sometimes.
I like drawing, painting and writing. I also teach French as a second language when I have the chance. Another hobby of mine is to help friends organize their kitchens ergonomically.
Our care and attention for your home are guaranteed. As for your pets, be assured they will be loved and cared for. Cats are a permanent source of admiration for Jean-Pierre while I cannot resist dogs.
Our only limitation is some walking difficulty that keeps us from heavy gardening duties but light gardening is fine.
