Hi my name is Zoe, I'm an artist and university lecturer and I would like to do some house sitting in southern England as I have start a new job and decide where to live more permanently. I've had my own house for 10 years which needed a complete overhaul so I gained plenty of DIY skills in the process and now have a beautiful home with dozens of striving houseplants. I'm very practical, organised and physically fit. I have done several house sits through the Mind My House site as well as for family and friends, looking after dogs, cats, chickens and fish and I would be happy to provide a number of references. I do not smoke or have any pets myself.
It is a great opportunity to combine my love for experiencing new places and having a quiet place to get on with my research and artwork. I love learning about new places and people and would much prefer to live as part of the community rather than an anonymous rental. I like the philosophy of housesitting, I have a good place to stay and work, you have a responsible and trustworthy sitter to look after your house, garden and pets. I will give your property and pets the respect and care I would expect my own to be given, I love animals and welcome the company. I'm happy to meet up to help you make a decision. Both short and long term housesits would be welcome.
I will be a conscientious guest. I will clean, take care of basic maintenance and other simple chores. I am well organised and diligent in all that I do. I enjoy walking, and I hope to be out with my camera and sketchbook wherever I go so lots of dog walking opportunity if necessary. I have a current police clearance check as I occasionally do community art work with children.
