I am a community-focused, animal-loving woman in my early thirties. My first house sitting experiences have come from friends. I left my home to look after their homes, farms, animals and gardens.
Because I'm often in house-sits on my own, it's really special when there are some fluffy friends to bring some life to the home. I really enjoy dog walks and if the pups are up to it, dog runs. I also love a kitten cuddle. I spend much of the day talking to my new friends, patting them, playing with them and making sure that their usual routine hasn't been disturbed.
I am very active and love running and walking. I do not smoke. I was a vegetarian for 8 years and I am more then happy to cook only vegetarian meals in the house if this is preferred.
I have experience looking after the needs of animals whether it be trips to the vet, calling in a vet for farm animal care, grooming, flee care, worming, etc.
I make sure that all of the household duties are maintained while you are away. I mow, garden, water the plants, clean the house, collect your mail, keep in regular contact and help with any last minute tasks that you hadn't tended to before you went on holiday. Upon your arrival, I'll make sure that your favourite goodies are stocked in kitchen and that your home is just how you left it.
For your piece of mind, I am an experienced house sitter. I am registered with housecarers , and now aussiehousesitters Before this, I was house sitting friends' and neighbours' properties. I have also been a WWOOFer (Willing Workers on Organic Farms) in New Zealand and South America. My excellent references show that I am professional, responsible and great to deal with. Please find them at the bottom of my profile on another site here: :// Nurturing%20Kiwi/
And for further piece of mind, once I accept an assignment, I will be there. I have never let a homeowner down.
I take the role of house sitting seriously. Our homes truly are our castles and I tend to the properties I care for as I would my own. It is a privilege to be in your home. I absolutely respect that.
I have traveled extensively and I have been living in New Zealand for the last eleven years. I am originally from the United States but most friends and colleagues struggle to imagine me as anything but Kiwi.
I adore seeing how other people do things. I make community everywhere I go and I love to hear a good story. I am interested in getting to know Sydney to see if I would like to move here. I'd love to wander around your neighbourhood and get a local feel for the place.
Professionally I am an editor for film and television and I'm interested in exploring further work opportunities outside of NZ.
If it suits, I would really like to arrange a call so that you are able to get to know me better. I am also able to ring you if that works better for you.
All the very best, Brough
