We are a non smoking couple in our sixties/Seventy who have retired after a wide range of professional endeavours and practical skills. Alex started working as an electrical linesman and a Supervisor with the State Electricity Commission of Victoria, he holds licences in work platforms, forklifts, crane operations, and HC transport. Alex has a long history of volunteering, with the Lions Club and Men's shed. Dot spent most of her working life in office administration and reception but also has had a diverse experiences. Dot is an artist and has achieved a level of success in exhibiting and selling her artworks and is able to gain inspiration from any environment. Dot is a volunteer at the local hospital doing Meals on Wheels. We have recently downsized from a vineyard property and are looking to apply our skills to a variety of contexts. We have owned and operated a successful Motel for years, supplying accommodation and meals. Our work life has included periods in remote areas and we are therefore comfortable with isolation. Now retired we are looking forward to continuing our travels and the chance to meet interesting people. As house sitters, we would respect your privacy and our top priority would be to ensure your piece of mind regarding the welfare of your animals and the security of your home. We travel with a small 5 year old Papillon Dog, she is completely house trained and socialised with other dogs and cats.
