Hello ! We are glad you ended up on our profile, here are a few words about us :
Who we are
We are a nice french couple in our thirties. We’ve lived in the US, in Australia and in Brazil for several years. We are comfortable both in cities (we grew up respectively in Paris and Rio) and remote areas (we love nature and are fine with harsh life condition). Lately, we both quit our jobs in Paris (as marketing manager and art director) to take a two years long break, set up new projects and travel a bit. In our previous life, we both used to manage complex projects, priorities and resources under tight time constraints, so we are pretty responsible and mature. In everyday life, we enjoy simple things and calm activities : working on our laptops, watching documentaries, reading, drawing, going outside for a walk are part of our everyday routine. We are non-smoker. We can provide all the proofs you’ll need about our identity and of course recent police checks.
Why we are great house sitters
We started a long time ago, sitting our family’s and friend’s houses. Then we sat for people we didn’t necessarily know in France and abroad (Australia, Germany, England…). We are very tidy people and we’ll care for your home and maintain your garden as if it was our own. Without exception, all the people who have entrusted their house/pets to us were glad they did and some even became good friends. Check out our references ! What we love the most in house sitting is being in a totally new environment surrounded by animals that we definitely couldn’t have in our parisian flat while being able to preserve part of our working/living routine. We find the concept so great, we even use it the other way round and have our little family house in Normandie sitted almost every year. We are very flexible on dates and we can move pretty much everywhere, but we prefer middle to long term duration (at least two months).
Our love for animals
We both adore animals and grew up with them (dogs and cats mostly). When we are in Paris, we foster newly abandonned cats (one at a time) who need to be taken care of before they find their new home (some pictures of our little guests in the photo section). In our free time, we also volunteer in the local dog shelter and during vacation, we get involved in conservation programs worldwide. For us, sitting a house with pets is a real plus. We guarantee you’ll be able to leave with your mind at ease as we’ll cherish your loved ones like our own babies.
