I am a Dutch, 60 year old sporty women, non smoker and have lived in different countries during my life. I worked for fourteen years as a scrubnurse in the Netherlands and on the island of Curacao in the Caribbean. I travelled during my free time extensively in South and Central America; visited Aruba, Bonaire, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Haiti, Surinam (Dutch Guyana), Ecuador and Colombia. Lived with my husband and two children for ten years in Greece, first as ex-pats and later with our own office. After, we moved to Canada, where we lived for thirteen years.
Wherever I lived, we had beautiful gardens and gardening is for me a joy. In Greece we had cats, a dog (Pointer) and rabbits. I grew up with dogs and after my parents moved to Spain, they had a variety of stray dogs in their home. I looked after their home on various occasions.
Due to being raised in the Netherlands and due to moving around, I speak different languages; Dutch, English, German, some French, some Greek and quite fluent in Spanish.
For the last couple of years I have been helping out some very poor families in a remote area of Cuba, not only with Humanitarian Aid, like clothing and medication, but also by building houses for them, via my own organization. I also worked for 7 years for Victim Services Niagara, Canada. An organization, which has it's office in the Police headquarters. Reference on request.
I am very tidy, reliable, independent and have good organization skills.
Both my children are also world travellers and are living in Sydney, Australia and the Rocky Mountains, Alberta, Canada.
The last two years I have done house and pet sits in Canada, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Mexico and Costa Rica. You can google my name, reneeprey, and it will show references from other s.
