My name is Nicholas, and I am an excellent choice for house sitting. I have been working in property management for the last four years, and I'm currently studying for my real estate sales exam. Why is that important?
IT'S ALL ABOUT TRUST. As a professional, people pay me to manage their most valuable asset: their home. So, I understand the expectation that you have for me as your House Sitter. This is your prized possession, and it needs to be treated as such.
BUILT-IN HANDYMAN. Homes need maintenance, even when you're on vacation. I worked in construction during college and have been a carpenter most of my adult life. This means that you can rest assured; I will perform all duties necessary to keep your home in the exact condition you left it.
CARING FOR YOUR NEST. The plants, animals and possessions that reside with-in a dwelling are what make that house, a home. I love animals, and respect personal property. As your House Sitter, I will care for your living and non-living possessions as if they were my own. Whether it's walking the dog, watering the garden, or moving your car on street cleaning days- I will take care of it.
WHY AM I DOING THIS? Both my girlfriend and I are in the process of furthering our careers. She will be going to Law School in SF, and I will begin selling real estate. We need a quiet place to study, and launch our new lives. We also want some time to get aquatinted with the city and find the right place to live. We decided that Sitting for home owners for extended periods would be mutually beneficial. We hope that we will meet wonderful people in the process, and build some great relationships.
