We are Maggie (a very youthful ) and Terry We live on a working farm in the Peak District, Derbyshire UK. We have, for the last years, spent our winters in mainland Europe in Spain and Portugal. For the last three years we have house/pet sat. These sits range from VERY isolated, off grid cortijos in rural Portugal and Spain to city apartments and suburban villas. We have cared for dogs (from families of to individuals), cats (some feral), horses, chickens and a pot bellied pig. The sits have ranged from a couple of weeks to four months. In total we have completed sits abroad. All safe all happy,we're glad to say. Here in the UK during the summer we care for friends dogs/ducks/chickens when they go away for holidays. At the moment we are fostering Susie the lovely lurcher until she finds a permanent home. As you can see we prefer to sit where there are animal companions. We travel to Europe by car and tow a small Eriba Puck with us. We are flexible with our times of and places to sit. We will happily provide references from previous sits if required.
