I believe I'm the perfect match for many homeowners seeking a house-sitter. I'm a homeowner (not renter!) and pet-owner, myself so I know the importance of taking care of a home and pets.
I take excellent care of my home and I treat my pet like she is my child. I am responsible and trustworthy with any work project I undertake.
I do have a six year old West Highland Terrier who I would like to be able to travel with me, when possible. She is very well behaved and adjusts easily to new or different homes. I could provide references for her, as well as myself.
If I'm called on to pet sit (rather than just housesit), I think Bella (my terrier) would co-exist best with a cat or another small dog or large dog that's very friendly such as a Labrador Retriever. No chow-chows, pit bulls or any other dogs with an inclination toward aggression.
Bella enjoys interacting with other dogs and we are active in a pet-owners' meet up group. In addition, there are times when my husband may be available to join me on a housesitting job. When he is able to travel with me, he will treat your home and your pets, like his own, as well. He is a great housekeeper, incidentally!
