Having lived in various styles & locations, experienced extreme weather, taken care of different animals and applied myself in different house hold chores, I’ve amassed a sizable amount of knowledge throughout my short years If there is a particular skill set you’re after, feel free to message me and I will go into more detail about my experience.
PET CARE:
If you’re worried about your dog not getting enough exercise I will walk with him for hours, take him on outings and socialize him at a doggy park (if he’s into that).
If you’re worried about leaving behind a sick rodent, I will make sure to keep it active, happy and on time with its medication.
If you’re worried about your pet bird growing restless, worry not, as I will seal off a room, or the whole house, for it to fly around. And clean up afterwards.
If you’re worried about your cat being mean to the house-sitter, have no fear, I’ve lived with enough feisty cats to know to feed them and let them be.
If you’re worried your horse will be locked away in it’s stall, I will feed, groom, walk, ride (if possible), and feed him some more. He will be one happy buddy.
HOUSE CARE EXPERIENCE:
Built a sauna, greenhouse. Planted, watered, fertilized and harvested flowers, vegetables and fruits. Hand painted window decorations and inside walls. Washed, vacuumed, and dusted floors. Basic household chores: dishes, laundry, organization. Fixed doorknobs and replaced light bulbs, built fires and used propane stoves. Etc.
PERSONAL EXPERIENCE:
Hold an Associates degree in English and a Bachelors in World Literature with Cultural Studies. Work remotely as a test scorer (grading state tests in English & math). Work as a freelance artist.
I am comfortable with all animals (including rodents, fish, birds, reptiles, insects). I am interested in both urban & rural house sits. I am flexible on location & duration.
