Hi everyone! My name is Madeleine, I live in Sydney and I'm a reliable house sitter!
I started house sitting with my Mum about 5 years ago, although since my grandmother has fallen ill, mum has had to look after her, so I have recently started branching off to a more solo approach. (Mum still tends to drop in every now and then for homeowners comfort)
Although I am young, I am very mature for my age. I rarely party, I don't drink. I do smoke occasionally, but never inside. I am honest, reliable and have excellent references that I am able to provide you with!
I am very active (of recent), as I've lost 25kgs in the past 4 months. So if you have animals that require exercise, I will definitely be able to meet those needs.
I'm a good and thorough cleaner, I can do simple garden and pool maintenance, collect mail regularly and remember bin night!
I promise to love and care for your pets and home as if they were my own! With every housesit I've done in the past, the most heart-breaking part is always leaving the animals. I form such strong bonds with them, so I can guarantee your pets will be well looked after and get endless attention.
If your pets require medicine, I have plenty of experience doing that. A previous housesit I did required a dog to have his eyes cleaned, eye drops put in, he needed various tablets and so on. I am very organised when it comes to that kind of stuff!
I work as a Teacher's Aide/Youth worker and am planning to study Teaching in the coming years. Last month I was let go due to funding cuts, so I am currently looking for more work (and have lots of free time) !
If your pets are used to having someone home a lot, it would work out really well!
