. Sean and Janis Laycox: Like everything we approach - we are committed to our new role as house sitters and our intent is to begin our role as house sitters as a second career – we take great pride in our reputation …as caring occupants of your home. We are hardworking, fit (daily exercise), active and non-smokers. We are a married couple in our early ’s semi-retired and we are recent empty nesters. We had the pleasure of living and traveling Europe with our children, and we now look forward to more travels. For over years we have been a military family we have learned to adapt to different lifestyles/cultures and look at life with great gratitude and welcome new adventures
Sean is a retired military pilot and now works as a seasonal helitack pilot for the Division of Forestry here in Nevada. This new schedule will allow us commit to house sitting assignments from October until April. Janis is a retired administrative assistant, home maker and event planner. Sean was born and raised in Southern California; Janis is from a small farming community in Wisconsin. Our mutual love of the mountains in Colorado brought us together over years ago. We have owned, maintained and sold over homes. These homes ranged from rural settings with acreage (with septic systems, waterfall features, coy ponds) – to zero lot homes and condo properties. We have meticulously cared for every home and property. We also love maintaining beautiful gardens and the outdoors. Lastly, we are animal lovers, owning both dogs and cats. A fun fact, at house parties, you will often find me and Sean spending time greeting and loving on the family pets as part of the evening festivities. You can rest assured we will take loving care of both your property and furry family members. You will feel comfortable knowing your home is being looked after by fellow property owners who respect and understand the value of the investment you have in your home.
