My husband and I have lived in Albuquerque for 11 years, very near the University, in a safe area and you can walk to most things: restaurants, grocery store, shopping, night life. Our neighborhood is growing and there are new businesses and restaurants opening all the time. But our street is quiet and our house is a lovely, old, remodeled adobe house/bungalow.
We have no animals but do have plants outside and inside that need watering and care. There is an irrigation system to monitor. We have quite nice grounds and three little porches and the property is small and manageable. We have great neighbors! Very friendly and helpful. We have heat (of course) and AC. In the winter Albuquerque is quite pleasant in temperature, but the nights can get cold, down to about 0 to 20 degrees as we are at 5000 feet; in the summer it can get close to 100 degrees but the altitude and lack of humidity make it seem cooler.
Please - no smoking inside the house & no noisy parties! Looking forward to hearing from a person(s) interested in spending some time in Albuquerque and who loves plants. Thanks. Lynn and Rich Taylor/Schroeder
