I are an active, retired man, normally based in New Zealand, but I love minding other peoples precious pets, plants, gardens and property so that they can go away on holiday knowing everything is being well looked after and loved. Since I retired years ago, we have been house sitting anywhere in the world, including New Zealand ( sits), Australia ( including a B & B, this includes one for three years in a row, France England ( ), Italy ( ) and USA mainland ( ) Hawaii I have appreciated the opportunities to help others in this way, and by living in their communities we have met so many interesting people. Alf was previously a Sports Stadium Manager and Public Swimming Pool Manager, proficient with computers. I still play very active badminton, table tennis and enjoy walking, so are very fit. I am a non-smoker and non-drinker, and always keep a clean and tidy house, and we enjoy keeping gardens, small or large, neat and tidy and watered. In our past situations I have minded in total lovely cats and endearing dogs of all sizes. We have minded an Art Gallery, Historic House and Wedding Chapel in the south island of New Zealand three times, followed by the family luxury B & B Lodge and Wedding Reception facility there. I have many excellent references from our house sitting situations, including one for a couple in Auckland for the fourth year in a row - a great reference in itself.
