There are a few yacht moorings here, but the strong tides swing the boats about a lot. I keep my boat about four miles inside the Loch. Over the hill about four miles away is the town of Oban, Pop. about 10,000. It is a very busy summer holiday resort and is the main port for ferries to the islands of Mull, Iona, Islay, Colonsay, Lismore, Coll, Tiree and Barra,
