those careers that a person falls into, sometimes
out of luck, sometimes out of need. Always, the
discovery of a mature, trustworthy, competent
individual who can think on their feet and defend
the family fortress from all harm is welcomed by
persons who travel either for business or
pleasure. This was my entry into the world
of "care",
In over ten years, it is still an honor to be
invited into a person's home in order to keep
that individual miracle of a home running as
smoothly as possible until the owner's return. My
visits have taken me from modest apartments to
large estates; all have been shown equal respect
and care.
Offering love and companionship to pets provides
as much personal satisfaction, if not more. Dogs
and cats have always been a part of my life and I
have expanded my circle of care to include birds,
fish, chickens and basic horse care. No
reptiles, please. I have cared for animals with
special needs and am comfortable administering
medication. My style of care is to replicate the
pet's normal routine. Although I have no formal
training skills, I adhere to whatever the owner
feels is best for their pet(s).
Everyone says they love animals. I can honestly
say that they seem to love me in return and I am
able to bond with them quickly.
