that you do. That is precisely what I want when
sitters come to my home.
I am a retired teacher and freelance writer. I
have also
been a registered nurse (10 yrs) and a
residential,retail, and landscape lighting
designer (5 yrs). I have owned and remodeled four
homes and gardens in thirty years. And, I have
raised two marvelous sons who are through
college and happily on their own. I started and
directed a campus-wide writing program at a state
university in northern California before selling
my home and putting everything in storage to take
time to travel and write for an extended time. I
have resettled near San Francisco, but I love
spending time in British Columbia and have good
friends in the Vancouver area.
I love animals and gardens and am happy to take
care of both. I can deal with any situation that
arises in a home or with pets. I have had both
cats and dogs over the last thirty years and miss
my latest companion, a standard poodle who lived
with me for fifteen years until his death in 2005.
I will be happy to lavish on your pets the
love he would have received.
I spent two years traveling the U.S., Canada, and
Europe and have taken care of houses and pets in
Vancouver, BC and California.
