Owned artist supply stores in San
Francisco from early '60s to mid 80s. ,
Introduced 'Politec,' the original
acrylic artists paint to U.S market (The
paint of the great Mexican
Muralists), supplying hundreds of
mural projects throughout
the country.
In l976 was acrylic paint
consultant for First National Congress of
Community
Muralists in NYC
Ever looking for an Angel to help
revive this very first and finest of acrylic
paints. Industry forces blocked trade
distribution
Finally, the Reagan presidency ended the CETA
program which had sustained my business.
graduated from the University of Florida,
member Beta Theta Pi fraternity and was
active in campus affairs, founding President
National Intercollegiate Pep Conference.

newspaper; also taught English to soldiers.
Attended Emory Law School briefly, then
studied painting
at the Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts and in
Mexico, where I taught English to children.
Later, designed off Broadway plays in
NYC
raised two children in Haight Ashbury
district of
San Francisco, was President of parent
group at Haight Ashbury Children's Center when
my children attended and served on several
community boards.

Have good health, don't smoke or
drink, am responsible and security conscious
to homeowner clients. I have a fully insured
van.
Housesitting fee is for the NUMBER OF CALENDAR
DAYS, partial or full, and is always paid
in full at the BEGINNING of assignment.
Since 2005, I've had four one month long, and
dozens of one, two and three week petsits,
plus one three month and one five month home
monitoring
Most are repeat clients with lovely homes,
with zero to eleven pets, and have
different environmental concerns that affect my
duties.
I have usually required $25. minimum per day
since starting petsitting in 2005. The
incredible inflation during recent years make
this low minimum rate imperative except for long
term (3 month minimum) house monitoring only,
which is often a no fee exchange only situation.
length of the assignment, number of pets,
and travel distance are important
considerations.
I am unable to take advantage of exchange only
situations except for LONG TERM home
monitoring,
I stay in house always at night and
depending on security needs and pet
requirements, during much of the day. Sometimes
I accept an additional drop-in pet assignment
that may require a brief absence
I cook meals and appreciate use of
refrigerator, washer/drier
It is helpful to be able to check email on the
home computer.
I practice the violin, the cello, and
sometimes draw and paint.
