Ghosha Maffei house-sat for me for two months this
year and took wonderful care of my home and my
cat. While I was gone she kept in touch via
email, sending photos of the spring flowers and my
sweet feline.
Ghosha is considerate, responsible and basically
everything I wanted and needed in the situation.
She took care of the few small problems that came
up while I was gone and called friends from the
list that I had left her when she needed their
help. She even fixed a couple of things that she
noticed that I had not mentioned.
I live in the country in a three bedroom, two bath
home and all was spotless and in good order when I
returned. This is a long period to be away but I
was always comfortable with Ghosha, knowing that
she would rise to whatever the occasion demanded.
She has great integrity and is completely
competent. I’m happy to provide a reference for
her as I was very happy with her stay.

Hello, I am Ghosha Maffei
I was born in New Jersey and have lived
in Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Indiana, Hawaii and
California in the US. I have a BA from Rutgers
University, a MA from Tennessee State
University, one year of law school from
Nashville School of Law and was certified as a
biofeedback technician from Vanderbilt
University. I have also studied metaphysics and
have earned my 'keep' doing tarot and other readings.
I am an active woman who loves traveling
and have lived in many countries. I have owned
two homes, raised three children, care for an
aging mother with Alzheimer and owned and loved
dogs, cats, birds and hamsters.
My occupation has been in education and
public service. I have taught in public schools in
Hawaii and CA and at Indiana University,University
of TN, Tennessee State University, Los Angles
Trade Technical College and worked for the State
of TN running training facilities. I have been
socially active throughout my life and believe
in honoring all people. Currently I am writing a
book about the prison uprising in New Jersey in
the early Seventies.
I am available for four weeks to several
months. I am an avid reader and movie watcher. I
enjoy long walks,and quiet meditation. In other
words, your home will be respected, cared for
and peacefully lived in while you are away.
I do speak and understand some Spanish and
Italian.
