| | | | | | | These two house-sitters come with a gift of
wines from the Hunter Valley in NSW. How is that
for a sweetener ?
We are two retired school teachers ( he sixty-
four, me fifty-six )who enjoy all the usual
pleasures of retirement - travel, good food and
meeting new people. We are non-smokers but
social drinkers who enjoy good friends and good
company.
Unfortunately our finances are limited so we
would like to offer our services to care for
your household's goods and chattel while you are
away.
Originally, because we relocated when we retired
personal references were thin on the ground but
we have references from our our rental agent,
the Manager of the Volunteer Centre with whom I
have worked with for nearly 18 months, the real
estate agent who handles our rental property,
our local pharmacist and the owner of the
coaching college where I have worked ( part-
time )since 2001.
Plus we now have numerous positive references
from all our home owners. By January, 2009 we
will be up to our 14th house sit -

We have had experience with dogs, cats and
birds. Some of the dogs were rescue pets.
I don't mind looking after pets but big dogs
( larger than labrador-size )are not one my list
of favourites. On the other hand cats, birds and
small dogs are not a problem. Don't mind mowing
household-size lawns, watering plants or walking
your dog.
We are flexible with dates,times, etc and if
things work out you may want to stay with us if
you ever get to Australia.
What we really like about the house sit option
is that you are based in one place so you get to
know it and the people who live there.
We are currently booked up until, the end of
May, 2009 but feel free to contact us if you are
flexible on dates. |
