I am extremely experienced at caring for house, farm, pets and garden. I am happy to travel overseas for long term sits. I have completed a wonderful sit in France end of 2007, then on to South of France for 4 weeks then to Tuscany for a further week sit. Back to Canada for 11 months, sitting a repeat Guest House, then to a B&B until end of November 2008. My background has been as an Executive Assistant/Organizer and earlier in real estate in both sales and property management, and I have owned a number of investment properties, I have worked as caretaker of guest houses and ski lodges. My preferences would be to house sit overseas and to perhaps caretake B&B or guest house/holiday house/farm. I have worked at numerous guest houses and ski lodges in the past in the capacity of manager and supervisor and have participated in all types of homemaking activities, including reservations, cooking, cleaning, gardening, home maintenance of all types. As well as being employed for the last 9 years at an Executive Assistant in Australia, I am highly organized, take pride in my work and staff and am a fine leader and negotiator. There is no situation that can’t be resolved or negotiated, I am a confident person who always takes initiative and works toward a positive outcome. I have worked with budgets and making and maintaining targets. I am a very welcoming person, a great hostess, a fabulous cook, kind and considerate, diplomatic and accommodating. I am also firm and precise in difficult situations opting to resolve issues in a diplomatic manner. I have completed courses in management, dispute resolution, supervising staff and home maintenance. My computer skills are highly regarded and I have attended many softwarecourses. I began my working career as a nurse and have a first aid certificate. I have travelled consistantly for the last 12 years and have completed a wonderful sit at a chateau B&B in France, continuing on to sit a 13 cottage resort village in the south of France plus a villa with horses, dogs and pig.
