The time to quit is now but I have far too much energy to sit around. I no longer want to be tied down to a home and all of the stuff one accumulates throughout a life time. My children have been given notice to come get it all or it gets sold because Mama in on a new trek. Sitting for another's home, pets and garden for a limited time period surely is the answer to a need to be grounded yet free to see new communities, enjoy different climates and experience diverse cultures for a time. I have owned five homes, rental property and rehabbed dwellings, constructed gardens, and tended to various animals while working full time as a teacher. I have taught every level from Kindergarten to Post-graduate courses. I was once retired from teaching but hated not working so I returned to education as an Instructional Coordinator. It is now time to move on. My two children are the parents of perfect children who are bright, talented, musical and well-mannered. They know how to clean a house, thanks to their Grams (that's me). I am well-traveled, having visited four of the seven continents. Precious treasures are fully appreciated and understood. I know what's valuable and how to care for them. There is no place in this world I would consider unacceptable as a house-sitting assignment. I am a Christian woman who has been a believer and follower of Christ for most of my adult life.
