| | | | | | | H! I'm a professional writer with my own home and
pets in a Colorado ski town, and I'd like to care
for your house and pets. I am a travel writer
employed by a major national newspaper (last five
years]; I can work from anywhere. I'll leave your
house clean and tidy, your pets happy and loved,
and your plants thriving! I garden, read, walk,
bike, and write -- about me:
- Our home's for sale, and my husband's showing
it this fall... showings make it hard for me to
write and work at home! And my dear old dog passed
away this summer - I am hugely enjoying taking
care of other folks' beloved dogs for now to fill
that hole in the heart.
-I don't drink or smoke at all.
- I have no criminal record and welcome a
background check. I can supply references from
housesits and from my own tenants. Have lived in
my town for seventeen years as a business owner,
homeowner, parent, active member of my community.
-Speak a bit of Spanish & travel *a lot* in
Mexico (will be moving there eventually).
What I can do:
- Spoil your animal family, as I'll be missing my
cats! It will be a gift to love, walk, swim, pet,
brush, hug and care for yours, and cuddle your
kitties. I'll give your animals medicine, take
them to the vet, and treat them like the gold they
are..
- I'm a gardener and can run lawn equipment and
care for veggies, flowers, fruit trees and more
(see my own gardens in my photos!).
- I'm a landlord and know what you need done for
your home while you're not in it.
- I don't cook much, so I will live lightly in
your home! You can be sure your home will be in
the same condition as when you left it.
- I know how to heat with solar or woodstoves.
I've lived in adobe homes and know how to heat and
cool them to best advantage. I've lived in the New
Mexico desert and know how to conserve water.
