| | | | | | | We're a mature family of four -- we're the
Davenports, William and Cindie (HAPPILY married
twenty-five years this year so we're stable
people!), along with our son Evan who is almost
eighteen and our daughter China-Claire, eleven.
We also have our yellow Lab, Buckley who loves
people and animals and has never, ever, never,
ever caused either any grief---besides wanting to
be their friend.
As a family we are very animal friendly. Our
daughter has her own pet care/dog walking
business, and our son has the dream of being a
sheep farmer.
We're footloose because our kids home school and
we work for ourselves in highly portable
occupations. The house we're currently in is
being sold, and we're ready to move out of the
area. Given our circumstances, we've decided
we're open to a little adventure and are willing
to go just about anywhere, including overseas---
all we really need is a high speed internet
connection.
OUR FAMILY VALUES ARE OLD FASHIONED. We believe
that our word is our bond---in fact William
continues to represent several companies, many for
several years, on a handshake basis; we believe
that integrity and honesty are bigger assets than
any bank account; that being kind is more
important than being right; that money doesn't buy
happiness; that everyone you meet deserves to be
greeted with a smile; that change can be good; and
in a non-stop "FedEx world" you must make time to
stop and smell the roses. We believe in the
golden rule, that there is more happiness in
giving than receiving, and that serving others is
preferable to serving yourself.
We're non-smokers and non-drug users---legal,
illegal, over the counter. You won't find much
more than aspirin in our medicine cabinet. As
to cleaning we're much more apt to use Tea Tree
or Lavender essential oils instead of harsh
household cleansers. Instead of Clorox and
Comet we lean more toward vinegar and baking
soda.
Besides the fact that we're clean and picky,
we're fairly handy and do our best to nip
problems in the bud when it comes to house
maintenance so that today's six dollar repairs
don't become tomorrow's six hundred dollar
nightmares. We're no strangers to shoveling
snow and one of William's favorite sights is a
freshly cut lawn so no worries on keeping your
yard in shape.

SO YOU CAN BE WORRY FREE WE WILL:
Help your pets maintain the routine they are used
to. Take your pets to the vet for scheduled
check-ups or to the groomer.
Water your house plants, yard, and garden.
Pick-up/drop off from the local airport, train
station, or cruise terminal.
Keep your vehicles and grounds equipment in good
shape, running them regularly or winterizing
them (in the case of lawn equipment or sprinkler
systems).
Provide you with regular updates about your pets,
home and property via email/fax/phone, along with
pictures.
Monitor and sort your mail, forwarding urgent
items per your instructions.
Answer your phones and forward your messages.
Supervise projects you may want carried out on
your property, even interviewing for and arranging
maintenance and/or repairs using the services of
local professionals.
Be easy to contact via phone or email since we
work out of the house---no endless games of phone
tag.
