| We are Jade Leonard and Fiona Jones, two
professionals from Australia currently travelling
the world. To make our travels more affordable
and more community-oriented we prefer to house-sit.
We are both animal lovers and pet owners and have
taken care of other people’s animals many times.
We are both vegan (we consume no animal products)
and are environmentally conscious. Combined, we
have cared for dogs, cats, horses, fish (including
tropical), turtles, rabbits, guinea pigs, sheep,
cows, peacocks, aviary birds, chickens and ducks.
In the past we have taken care of gardens and
overseen maintenance issues within properties in
our care, and kept regular correspondence with the
owners.
Professionally, Jade has been teaching music for
the past ten years operating a private music
school in Melbourne and working in many primary
and secondary schools. She is also a professional
singer and pianist. For the past fifteen years
Fiona has been working in environmental health –
food safety, most recently for the Victorian State
Government. Presently Jade is performing
internationally at hotels and resorts and Fiona is
pursuing online business opportunities.
We have references from home-owners whose houses,
pets and gardens we have taken care of in the
past. We would welcome the opportunity to speak
with you about your needs and we hope that we will
be suitable for the position.
