Hello, we have been homeowners for thirty years. We recently moved to Magnetic Island from the Sunshine Coast.
As home, and past pet owners, we appreciate the need to have responsible people looking after your house and much loved pets.
We are semi-retired, so have lots of time to lavish affection on pets. We love walking and know how important it is to exercise dogs. Our children have flown the nest, and no longer have any pets of our own. Our family dog died a few years ago in his old age and we have withstood the urge to get another so we can be free to travel. Over the years we have had many pets: cats, dogs, and raised orphaned birds, as well as rescued sick and injured wildlife whenever we find them.
Most of our working life, we have been self- employed in the commercial art field, but we now focus on the more creative areas, working with acrylic on canvas
We did a short house sit two years ago in Noosa (Sunshine Beach) looking after two active kelpies while we were looking for a house to buy. We enjoyed that experience very much and we would like to do more.
We are non-smokers who occasionally enjoy a glass of wine in social situations. We can supply numerous references vouching for our reliability and character, from friends and a recent short term lease situation in Noosa. We have often house sat for friends, as well as looking after their pets.
