Available to house-sit anywhere in Sydney Eastern
Suburbs from September 25th (flexible) 2009 for
three to four weeks.
We are a quiet, non-smoking, retired couple,
very respectful of other peoples' homes and property.
We have a home in England but have just moved here
permanently to be near our son and his family. We
are house sitting in Rose Bay until September 25th
(this is flexible) and would like a further house
sitting opportunity until mid October, when we are
due to settle on a home we are buying in Queens Park.
We have been house exchanging for a long time -
since 1985 in fact - which has worked out
brilliantly over the years.
There are several ex-exchangers in Sydney who have
become friends, who would be happy to talk to you,
should you wish to contact them for references etc.
House sitting experiences have included looking after
dogs, cats, one quiet horse and, on one memorable
occasion, over 140 guinea pigs!
In view of all that, we are fully aware of the
need to treat your home with discretion,
respect, responsibility and care while you are
away, and any pets with as much love and
affection as we showed our own in the past. We
can offer you peace of mind and total
security.
As mentioned we are currently house sitting here
in Queens Park, and will follow that with six
weeks in Rose Bay unti September 25th.
We check emails daily, so please
do contact us with any further questions,
with no obligation, and we will gladly return
any calls, texts or emails.
Finally, as non-smokers ourselves, we would much
prefer to house-sit for the same, please.
Finally, we are usually asked if we charge for
house sitting. We do not charge for normal house
sitting duties, and generally expect to pay
our own utility bills, and of course, telephone.
We see this as a mutually beneficial arrangement,
based on trust, and look forward to hearing from
