Hello, my name is Shauna.
I am a Master of Health Business student at the University of Sunshine Coast. I decided to go back to school later in life (40 years of age) and I room share with my extended family in Peregian Springs to off-set international tuition costs.
I work part-time as a relief assistant electorate officer for state level MPs on Sunshine Coast. I also telecommute (work remotely) as a research assistant in the area of public health for the University of Sunshine Coast and the Brain Treatment Centre.
I am from a cattle farm in Saskatchewan, Canada. I have moved to the Sunshine Coast for the nicer climate. I am comfortable with caretaking properties which have tank water, large yards and/or livestock. As well, I am happy to mind small homes and urban spaces.
Most of my previous housesitting work has been looking after your wonderful pets while you are away. This has included dogs, cats, guinea pigs, birds, fish, snakes and chickens.
I would be happy to meet with you for a coffee or tea to see if I am a good fit for you and your fur babies. Ideally, I would prefer a location is a reasonable distance (approximately 40 minutes or less) from the University of Sunshine Coast.
Kind Regards,
Shauna
P.S. I am happy to provide references in advance. I always ensure I have a back up person to assist me in the event I am sick or in an accident while you are away on vacation.
