We are a couple in our 50s travelling this gorgeous country.
We have been on the road for a year and are heading north. We tried this before a few years ago but covid sent us back to WA.
We stayed at a farm cottage in Harcourt, We feed the pigs, cleaned the B&B and did some farm work to cover our stay. Reference available.
Before Harcourt we stayed at a couple of stations in the NT, cooking, cleaning, mowing, looking after animals, pigs, chooks, dogs, horses, cows & a camel! Dave is a auto electrician and he did some mechanical stuff also. We had such awesome experiences; we plan to do that in Qld. We even like cows now!
Previously we were in business in Esperance WA (our home) for 18 years. After we sold it we then moved to Kalgoorlie for 5 years, working in the mining industry. Since 2019 we have been in Perth, waiting out Covid. We rented in Perth for two years. Reference available I worked at Australia Post in Perth, Kalgoorlie & Esperance. Reference available. We have done three house sits in Harcourt, one in chiltern ( all Victoria) and Toowoomba, references available. Now we know how to look after a turtle!
