Greetings! At 79 I'm in excellent health, independent, well-travelled, reliable, with as many personal references as you require! I've been an active volunteer in my church and community including our cat shelter which houses 80 cats, one of which came home to live with me! I love cats & I'm comfortable with any type of dog. I live with my daughter and her lovely & and exuberant Golden Retriever.
My career consisted of 33 years working in & managing my husband's dental practice and in recent years, to this date, as a part time home-care worker providing clients with assistance in daily living. We live in a comfortable home but I can be content with fewer amenities in exchange for new experiences. I'm double-vaccinated and double-boosted with Pfizer.
I've been an avid gardener, interested in everything nature-related from deer, foxes, butterflies, moths to insects. I'm a responsible "Citizen Scientist" and environmentally aware; I recycle and compost. I'm a life-long non-smoker; I do enjoy white wine.
My adult daughter, an established house-sitter as well, often travels with me for part of my longer-term house-sits and we can be available as a team. In Nadine adventured through Mexico and Guatemala with her then-15-yr-old son for a year, studying in Spanish Language school, working in hostels, pubs and resorts. She is registered on HouseeSitMexico and has produced a video for potential house/pet-sits. She and I live together and travel together.

Workaway: At 75 I accepted Workaway assignments in England, total 9 weeks, on a small 'farm'. After three weeks the owners took a week's vacation and I was solely responsible for 16 sheep, many chickens, ducks, turkeys and 2 pigs, as well as the dogs and cats being boarded onsite. Sept 15-Oct 23, 2019, south of San Miguel de Allende, MX, I spent 6 weeks with a delightful year-old black cat who made me laugh every day. 'Littlebit' had a routine of being walked with a harness and leash for an hour a day on the scrubby property abounding with grasshoppers to keep him entertained.
