_________________________________________________ We are looking for a live-in dog sitter/housesitter for a little over two months, from June 29, 2012 to September 4, 2012 to care for our home and 4 dogs (4 adult Lab mixes) while we are out of the country. We live in a 2900 square foot single family home on a small residential lake, with fenced yard and a pool. Our home is located on the Tempe/Mesa border, an easy commute to ASU, downtown Phoenix or Scottsdale, Arizona. Come and spend July and August in sunny Arizona! (Although these are hot months in AZ, our home is fully air-conditioned with central air, and we have a pool!)
Very little housekeeping is required, as we have a weekly housecleaning service, weekly lawn and yard service, and weekly pool service. Our sitter MUST love big friendly playful dogs and be willing to spend lots of time with them! Our dogs are fine left alone for short periods during the day, but must have companionship at night. Two of our dogs need daily medication administered (pills given with food).
Our house has central heating and air- conditioning on both floors, so it is comfortable even in the hottest months. We have a private guest room and bath on the first floor, wireless broadband, large HD flatscreen TV and DVD player, and plenty of room for you to spread out while staying here. Our adult children live nearby if any household problems occur. We will pay all normal household expenses while we are gone (utilities, dog supplies, etc.), but this is otherwise not a paid position.
We have had good experience in the past with retired couples and people seeking to relocate to the Phoenix area as housesitters. This is an excellent opportunity to explore the Phoenix area for a few months!
