I'm a teacher with who will be away from June 27-July 26th. There's a possibility of extension between Aug 10-22, and I'm somewhat flexible on dates.
I'm looking for a nonsmoking professional or retired person/couple to look after my house, plants, and garden - I have a large yard which requires about 3 hours a week of maintenance. Willingness to do some outdoor painting (trim on garage, porches) would be a bonus.
The house is in the Queen Mary Park area, about a ten minute drive from downtown, the university, or the river valley. It's a recently recently renovated 1950s semi-bungalow with hardwood floors, and has a beautiful back yard. You will have more raspberries than you can eat, and the neighbors are friendly. There's no TV reception in the house, but I do have a dvd player.
Please, no pets that could damage floors, furniture, or plants.
