The house has a fully equipped painting studio, a great kitchen with a 6 burner stove, 2 ovens, a claw foot tub for soaking, a wonderful rainhead shower, a fully stocked library, and high speed internet with the cable access. It has a small front yard garden and a secluded back patio. We are located in West Seattle, a suburb of metropolitan Seattle. The home is a block away from prime bus routes, and just a few stops from downtown Seattle, Pike Street Market, Pioneer Square, Alki beach, the West Seattle Junction. It is within walking distance to libraries, doctors, parks, coffee shops, & grocery stores.
The duties surround caring for our dog. She doesn't require walking, unless you want to have some fun. She can be let out to the back yard. There is the daily poop patrol in the back yard. You might have to mow the back yard, depending on how quickly the grass grows. It makes the patrol much easier. She isn't an escape artist.
There is also the watering of a 75 gallon salt water aquarium & a pinch of fish food. There’s some minor indoor plant watering. There are aquarium specialists we have on call in case of emergency.
You need to plan on supplying at least personal and professional references (the more, the better). We will be speaking to them, so please make sure there's a phone number. There are several flights of stairs in the house. Please bring your own computer. Sorry, no pets of your own. Please plan on signing an agreement, being interviewed over the phone, having your references called, and meeting with us at least one day before we leave to introduce you to our dog and our home. We do have a guest room where you could stay if accommodations are an issue.
