We are looking for a responsible person or couple that we can depend on while we are on vacation, someone who feels comfortable around dogs and can relieve us from having to worry about leaving our dogs and home. We have 2 labradors, very friendly and affectionate who will give you lots of love! and snuggle up with you on the setee!
What responsibilities are required of the house sitter?
Being entirely responsible for the dogs first.
We also have some fish that will need to be fed but that is all the attention they require.
Some watering of bedding plants in pots outside, we have a sprinkler system for the rest of the garden but it will need mowing once or twice a week while we are away.
Beautiful house and gardens with gorgeous views. Beautiful, wildlife in the yard (deer, groundhog and maybe you will see some fox). There is table tennis, table football, darts or pool for you to play or you can bring your laptop......Free phonecalls nationally and Wireless internet is available so you can keep in touch with the rest of the world, or you can just chill out on the deck and maybe have an evening grilling on the bar-b-que!!
The house sitter must love and know how to care for animals; be very neat and clean; respect beautiful surroundings, furnishings, etc.
Dates for the sit are JUNE Like many house sitters, we see house sitting as a win win for all concerned. It means that you get to stay in our home free of charge while we are away, and in return you take care of our home and pets for us free of charge. If you have replied to past adverts in previous years, but were not succesful, please do not hesitate to contact us again, we have always had so many replies and have had people on our shortlist but in the end not needed them, it really can be difficult choosing beween one sitter and another, this time it might be you.
