We have two small dogs who are used to being with us all the time. We are a family (mom,dad, and daughter) who need to go to Minneapolis for a medical conference from August 6 through the 9th. Our dogs are two small boys, two-year old Mickey, a chihuahua/rat terrier mix,(twenty pounds) and Little Bear, a boston terrier/beagle mix (twenty two pounds). They are close to each other & extremely close to us. Mickey is accustomed to sleeping in bed with a person & cuddling. Little Bear is happy in his crate in the same bedroom. They are really good & lovable (with a quirk or two). We want someone responsible to stay at the house to be with them and keep them company while we are gone . Our neighbors are awesome and the neighborhood is in a quiet dead end cul de sac right on a bike path & Neponset river bird sanctuary. We live in Dorchester, which has a rep for being unsafe, but this area is a very nice neighborhood that does not feel like the city at all. Very countrylike. We own a comfortable single family house. We have amenities such as cable TV,a Wii system, wireless internet and comfy digs. Not alot of frills, but very clean and cozy with a ton of books to read and nice places to walk with the dogs, and nearby cool shops. The dogs are happy to keep you company while you read, eat, walk, sleep, go on the computer, talk on the phone, etc. They also enjoy car rides. Our contact information is registered with the site.
