I have a comfortable Victorian villa with insulation and effective heating, small garden and large cat and hope someone will look after it for me while I take a much-needed holiday from 23 August to 12 September. It's in a quiet cul-de- sac backing onto the green belt with good sun, an easy walk to the city and 2 minutes' walk to the bus stop and corner shop.
You'll find yourself within easy walk of plenty of restaurants, a great supermarket, the Courtenay Place entertainment district, Freyberg indoor pool and gym, the beach and the big Sunday morning farmers' market. I don't have broadband internet (only dial-up) or satellite TV (only 4 channels), but I do have lots of books and music for when you're not out enjoying everything Wellington has to offer.
