Our house is at Haywards Bay, a new suburb 10 minutes south of Wollongong on Lake Illawarra. The surrounding areas are really lovely, we are 15 minutes drive from Kiama, 30 minutes to the highlands. All our children have left home, but we do have 3 dogs, soon to be two as one is soon to be reunited with one of our daughters. Two of our dogs are quite large breeds, but gentle, a standard poodle, and a gordon setter, for those who don't know that breed they are the scottish version of the red or irish setter, the gordon is heavier and the colour is black and tan. We also have two older cats, fluffy persians, they are very quiet and sleep lots! Requirements of the house sitter would be to mainly look after the welfare of our pets, the dogs and cats do sleep in the house at night time, but are happy to be outside during the day. We have a covered outside alfresco BBQ area that is great for them as they are protected from the weather. The pets are fed in the morning, and the evening. Water bowls are filled everyday. Cat litters have to be scooped out every day and changed every couple of days. De poo the lawn every day or as required. Regarding the house and gardens, just maintaining them as needed.
