We require a mature person/couple to look after our 2 storey house for approx weeks from the end of May We live in a quiet small acreage estate (1 ½ acres) in the Hunter Valley region of NSW near Maitland. The area is catered for tourism with many wineries in the region. Our local area is well catered for with a shopping centre, several clubs, newsagent/post office, cafes, golf courses, churches, all emergency services and both public and private hospitals.
The major thing is our dog, Katie. She is a 10 year old German shepherd x Kelpie. She is such a gentle girl, only weights about 23kg and loves to be around people so we need someone who will be around a lot especially at night as she is an indoor dog.
Katie is a retired Delta companion dog who has visited the local Retirement Home for the past 6 years. She now hangs out for her walks and knows exactly when her walk time is due.
Other than keeping the home occupied, collecting the mail and care for Katie there would be no other duties required during the stay. It is very important that you would be home every evening whilst we were away.
