Home is located in the Spruce Creek Fly In, an airpark community with a cafe and green areas, nature trails, golf course, in addition to lots of flying of vintage war planes, formation flying and regular small plane aviation. THE HAPPINESS, HEALTH AND WELL BEING OF THE PETS IS THE SINGLE MOST IMPORTANT FACTOR IN THIS ASSIGNMENT. Next is cleanliness and careful use of owners furnishings. One cat enjoys lap time and will want to sit with you when you watch TV or read. The other 3 are independent and live in the pool enclosure or their catio for nightime sleeping. The pool deck is pavered, heated pool, patio furniture. We have a spin bike and abs machine and the water aerobics toys.
We offer a large guest suite with a modern bathroom, large and recently remodeled. We have a pretty garden setting with golf course views and a large heated pool, on a peaceful no traffic street. We have a chefs kitchen. The house is turnkey with garden and pool service.
We want to spend time away this summer and the sitter would stay to watch the kitties and the house. Approx. dates are early June through mid Nov. 2024. We might find we need to come back for short visits to take care of necessities but it would not be the plan. The sitter could take this time to travel or take a break....or stay and be off duty.
House to do's involve -- cleaning 2 litter boxes every morning, insuring doors remain shut and neither indoor nor pool enlosure kitties EVER get out, making sure lawn crew does their job, bring in mail. This area is VERY hot in July Aug. Sept. so if you are sensitive you may not like this assignment. Labor involves: cleaning 2 litter boxes, feeding cats 2 x daily.
You can work from home comfortably, there's a desk, tv wifi, stero, bed super comfy. The guest suite has many empty drawers and closet space so you can be comfortable. Must be detail oriented with good cleaning skills as cats sometimes puke or accidents can happen. Ideally, the person would be around a lot, organized and methodical. Must drive and have a car. If you want to perfect your golf game or just relax and love the beach (just 7 miles away) this coast is perfect for that. This is a gated community with absolute safety and relaxed setting. If you are an aviation junky, you'll be in heaven.
