We are looking for a housesitter (single person or couple) for our rural off-grid house near the Okavango in Botswana, 15 km from Maun. The house is in a beautiful river setting with palm trees. Housesitter(s) should be 'handy' as the house runs on solar power and the fridge on gas. Water is pumped from a wellpoint in the river. There is a gardner and a part-time cleaner. There is also a dog and cat to look after.
The location is ideal for trips into the Okavango Delta, which is a world heritage site.
A monthly contribution toward cost (gas, batteries, cleaner) will be required at about Euro 300 p month.
