We are looking for a reliable house sitter and cat carer. My father Graham is a recently retired Uniting Church Minister and I (Andrew) am a mechanic with holidays owing. We are going to WA for a 4wd and caravan adventure. We live in a beautiful, 5yo home in a very quiet area of Ballarat, Soldiers Hill. We are approx 4mins drive from Ballarats main strip, Sturt Street. Our local supermarket IGA, is 1min drive and 15min walk away. 5min walk to bus stop. Angel is our medium haired moggy who is ten years old and shows her age in her attitude. Having said that, I can promise, you will fall in love with her immediately as she is a gorgeous girl. Our 2 bedroom home (2nd bedroom will be unavailable as we will use it as a storage room whilst we are away) is very secure, warm, cosy and very well furnished with ducted heating (even in the bathroom), unlimited hot water system, wi-fi, foxtel, 3d television, remote lockup garage and everything you could need. We have a very small yard that requires very little maintenance.All you will need is yourself, clothes and a love of felines. Our perfect applicant will be over 40yrs of age, trustworthy and dedicated to the care of our home and cat. The lucky sitter who is suitable will be very comfortable in our home with ABSOLUTELY NO bills!!!! MY FATHER AND I ARE BOTH SMOKERS. The house will be aired out for 2 weeks before start date. Angel our cat is 10yo. She is a gorgeous grey and white medium hair. She only eats dry food and on occasion she likes the broth only out of sachet of Fancy Feast fish and broth. We have just installed a cat door in a secure window in the kitchen to make her life a little easier. She requires little attention, but needs to have a human nearby, just in the off chance she needs some loving. Give her a week or two to warm to you and she can be a great companion. To be honest, she really is the main reason we are looking for a sitter. She has once been in a cattery and she was miserable, so I promised her never again.
