Jocelyn and Jane live on Pink Gum - a beautiful place to stay. The property is in Ngarrindjerri country,is 100 acres and is about an hour South of Adelaide with sweeping panoramic views to the coast and surrounding bushland. There is 40 acres of scrub on the place, with national parks nearby – Finniss CP is on our western boundary and Cox’s Scrub Conservation Park about 2 k’s down the road. If you have Google Earth you can see where we are. Type in Cole Crossing Rd, South Australia 5210 and if you zoom in to 35 degrees 19’02.59” S and 138degrees 42’29.42” E - you will be looking down at our place, with its numerous sheds and tanks. The main house is a stone cottage with a loft, and we have just added on a light, spacious and well insulated extension which is the main bedroom and also has a sitting area which catches the winter sun. The wood stove is warm, easy to light and there will be plenty of wood here to keep you warm. Bird-watching is a treat. There are great wineries to visit and we are reasonably close to Goolwa, Victor, Strathalbyn, Willunga and Willunga Beach, and to Mt Barker. We get good wireless broadband reception and good mobile reception. There is a ‘top cubby’ where visitors can stay. We have 2 very friendly red Kelpie dogs who love pats but will leave you alone when asked to. It is really for them that we want someone to stay. sorry about the short notice but our confirmed arrangements have just fallen through !
