I have a beautiful 30 year old home on set 5 acres in a semi rural bush setting; 15 minutes from city centre. Devonport is the port for the ship = The Spirit of Tasmania and my home is 20 minutes away from the airport. I have a 16 year old female Blue Burmese cat - 'Sara'. She is gentle, loving and affectionate. She requires a little bit of loving; a big cuddle and feeding daily. She is a very easy cat who sleeps most of the day and likes to find a sunny spot outside occassionally. She sleeps inside at night.
There is only minimal care needed- basic needs such as a clean litter tray and fresh water and occasional pat and letting her in and outside.
She is my precious baby and I would like someone who shares my love of cats to house sit for her.
There is an abundance of wild life in my very private peaceful surrounds. A perfect location for a person who loves peace; quiet and serenity within easy travel distance of heaps of beautiful tourist destinations on the North West Coast of Tassie. 45 minutes to Cradle Mountain etc.
There is very little minimal outside maintenance required because the wallabies keep the lawns mowed. An occasional gathering up (- light mow with lawn mower and use of leaf blower -leaf vac) of the leaves and sweep around the main entrances and from the driveway is about all that is necessary!
I am house proud and have a well organised, clean 3 bedroom home and would like to return to a home as clean tidy as I leave it.
Because my property is in a semi rural setting, unexpected situations could arise? Incidents such as a strong wind may bring a tree down or a storm could cause a power outage. This will require a people with problem solving skills, who can handle dealing with the unexpected.
I have excellent neighbours who are always willing to offer help, support and advice about the house, property (unexpected situations) or the cat if needed.
There is no public transport in my area so the use of a car would be necessary.
I have room for a caravan or motor home if necessary. Previous house sitter have taken advantage of this.
