Looking for a responsible couple to house sit our 2800 sq. ft.custom adobe home in the mountains. An hour from the beach, or half an hour from 10,000 feet up! We are located 6.5 hours south of San Diego or 3.5 hours south of Ensenada on the beautiful Baja penisula. It is currently for sale but we expect it take some time to sell as it is a specialized property. It is a remote location, your closest neighbor is 12 km away, perfect for writers, or nature photographers, or anyone who can work from home via satellite internet, no electric, or water bills at all! We have a large organic vegetable and herb garden and apple,pear, peach and plum trees as well..you can be quite self sufficient here. It is a nature lovers paradise. Bring your own pets as well. Pepita loves other dogs! she is an easy outdoor dog, no walking In late summer/Fall some weeding/mowing of grounds when necessary-watering fruit trees, organic vegetable and flower gardens around the house. Also some woodcutting for winter heating. Chainsaw and woodsplitter are provided. House it heated with a fireplace insert. One outdoor ranch dog to feed- Pepita is an awesome Australian Blue Heeler, good with everybody and other dogs as well and 2 hens (free eggs;) Bring your own pets if you like! Weekly check on a water tank and filter cleaning-Some working knowledge of Spanish is needed. A good condition 4X4 vehicle is needed for entry on the 4 mile dirt road, the rest is paved. You can run the B&B, which consists of a two bedroom casita if you would like a small amount of income as well, but we can close it as well:)
