I live on the edge of Margaret River (1km from the Main Street) in a quiet cul de sac on half an acre. I have a dog, a cat and five chooks and a large garden and orchard. I need somebody to look after my pets and house while I'm away visiting children and grandchildren in California. The accommodation for the housesitters is à Granny flat adjacent to the house. It is quite large with its own bathroom toilet, simple kitchen and a store room with a wardrobe and shelves. The main requirement for the housesitters is to be reliable and present as much as possible and definitely in the evenings. My dog and cat are elderly and love to sleep by the wood fire. The dog needs to be walked every day and the chooks have to be locked in their house on dark ( I lost 8 to a fox last year and never want to repeat the experience).
